Burn notice info:
Burning of landscape waste is allowed every Saturday of each month as long as it is supervised.
Pet lic info:
Pet licenses are due on all dogs, cats & horses on January 1 each year. A proof of rabies vaccination will be required to license pets. The cost is $5 if altered and $10 if not altered. Contact City Hall at 644-2425 with questions.
Animal Control:
It is unlawful for any owner to allow a domestic animal to run at large within the city limits. The owner shall be subject to a civil penalty of $100 for the first offense and upon a 2ndoffense within one year, a civil penalty of up to $750 and removal from the city limits. Please take care to make sure your pet is properly restrained or kenneled to avoid these fines.
Water Service:
You may obtain water service by filling out the application and submitting it with a water deposit of $100. This deposit is refundable if you are buying your house and you have good payment history for at least 6 months. Renters will receive their deposit back when moving, it will be applied to their final water bill.
